ACCOUNT SAFETY

How to Protect Your Account and Login Details

4 min read How we write

A familiar logo does not tell you who will receive your details. Start with the address in the browser, the company named in the terms and the service you actually meant to visit. Those three things should agree before you fill in a registration form.

Read the destination, not the button

A button can say Register while opening a different brand. That is what happens with this publication: JILI3 is the reading site, while its commercial registration link leads to INAGBET. The two names do not describe one shared account system.

After a link opens, look at the full address. For a Philippine-facing gambling website, check the destination against current PAGCOR information. A screenshot of a licence or a copied seal is not the same as a matching entry in the regulator's directory. HTTPS protects a connection; it does not by itself establish who runs the business.

Check eligibility and the kind of authorisation

For this Philippine-facing publication, the minimum audience age is 21. PAGCOR also identifies other restricted groups. Do not assume age alone is enough, or use another identity or account to bypass an exclusion.

A supplier approval or old offshore licence is not the same as current authorisation for a domestic website. PAGCOR states that its offshore Internet Gaming Licensees and Authorised Providers were cancelled effective 15 December 2024. Check the current domestic register for the exact service and domain; a historical certificate does not settle that question.

Three names you may see on one journey

Separating these roles makes account problems easier to route. A game developer is not automatically the company holding your balance, and an article publisher cannot retrieve an operator password.

Who does what
RoleWhat belongs there
PublicationArticles, sources and editorial corrections. JILI3 does not collect player documents.
Game supplierThe game title, software and game-rule information.
OperatorYour account agreement, account history, verification and payment support.

Protect access before there is a problem

Use a unique password and enable multifactor authentication where it is offered. Secure the email account used for recovery too. CISA recommends password managers and MFA as practical account protections; neither makes a suspicious website trustworthy.

Check how recovery works before signing out of an account you already use. Keep recovery codes private. A person in a chat should not need your password, payment PIN or one-time login code to explain a promotion.

  • Open support from the verified account website, not a newly received direct message.
  • Check the privacy notice and recipient before submitting identity documents.
  • Stop if a request changes from checking a record to installing remote-control software or sharing a login code.

When the names do not match

Suppose a guide link opens a registration page for another brand. Do not try your existing password to see whether it works. First decide whether you intended to visit that operator at all. Then verify its address and account terms separately.

If you cannot identify the company receiving your information, leave the form unfilled. You do not need to register, deposit or upload an ID in order to read the articles here.

Common questions

Does JILI3 have my operator account?

No. JILI3 is an independent publication. Registration, login recovery and balances belong to the external operator, not this website.

Is a padlock enough to verify a site?

No. It indicates a secured connection to the displayed address, not approval of the operator or a promise about withdrawals.

Where should I send a suspected error in an article?

Use the publication contact page with the article URL and the sentence concerned. Do not attach account credentials or identity documents.

In brief

The useful result of these checks is a clear identity: which website you opened, which company manages the account and which private channel handles support. If any of those remains unclear, pause there.
